COMPLETE PLAY: A Mystery Play in Honor of the Nativity of Our Lord by Robert Hugh Benson-mas
Choir member 1 Scene 2 "O Come Let us all..."

This took days... The video, the sheet music and the text all have different lyrics. I've stuck with the printed text (I hope), but then it's hard to know the tempo for the 'extra' verses.
Good luck compiling it all!

Thank you Gill. I'm sorry it took so much time. There's something to be said for just picking a key and linking to that public domain hymnal site ... but it wasn't my choice, so we live with the decisions made in the beginning of the project.

I know. I'm happy you've taken it on to try to get it finished.
I should mention that I started that song as soprano - the first verse seemed to require it - although I had to miss out one phrase which was just too high for me. The timing should still work for the gap I left. I went down an octave for the rest of the song.

Here is 2/3 of my role-
1: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/mysteryplay_abel_1.mp3 (0 mins, 41 secs)
4: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/mysteryplay_abel_4.mp3 (1 min, 52 secs)
Haven't been able to finish recording the last act yet but I decided to give you the ones I have gotten done and I will do the other one as soon as I can, hopefully I haven't missed any lines but the other stuff in act 1 seemed like the singing which you said you were fine with me not doing. The first act also has a stage direction where it notes Abel is sobbing I noticed, I wasn't sure if you wanted that but it's usually better to err on the side of recording and the editor can just discard if they don't want it so I recorded some sobbing too just in case

Thank you Inkell. I do the same ... better to record too much and leave it on the cutting room floor than have something missing in the end!

Hello MaryAnn, I hope my message finds you well!
In the spirit of the season, I'd like to participate in this project. I could do the appendix. And if it's neutral, I could also voice for Ben-Ezra.

Rapunzelina,
It would be wonderful to have you do both! I'll put you in the MW and we can be fully claimed.

Here is Narrator for Scene 5

This was much more involved than Scene 5, so give it a good PL, Elijah, because I may have missed something.

Today, May 26, is my 11 year anniversary with LibriVox. What a journery!
Some stats: 2,300 projects, 335 as BC, 500 as DPL, 1850 as reader.
More to come
Sorry - Just noticed that there are three songs (not two) for Scene 1.
I'll have to record that and add it to that file.
From the text of the play. the chorus only sings verse 4,and a little before and after it. Verse 1 is sung by Abel and Martha. Or do you want the whole song sung by the chorus?
