Here are the first two Cedric files. Please let me know if I am on the right course here with the proud but disgruntled Saxon.

Jim in Ohio

Why are more astronauts from Ohio than any other state? Because it’s so bad that they want to leave earth entirely!

Wamba is PL OK in 2, 5, 6, 7, 8

In chapter 4, would you mind editing one pronunciation that affects the meaning a bit? It's not something you missed, but something we should have anticipated during scripting, so I'm sorry about that.

at 0:52, this line: "that were still somewhat on the bow-hand of fair justice. . . " would be a term referring to the arrow-and-bow "hand" (rather than taking a bow) - meaning Wamba feels it's still not really fair justice.

Gurth 1 is PL OK :)

(I forced it to mono and re-uploaded, as we discussed - there is room for a little more volume increase on future recordings, but no need to change this chapter at all)

Hey, LilaMable, I wonder if your software setup is anything like Audacity in this regard: I can set the recording to mono to start with, and then I also can choose "mono" in the export-to-mp3 window when I'm doing that step. Can you see anything like that on your phone's software?

I love him! Yes, you're doing a nice portrayal. Cedric is all about his Saxon-ness, quite proud of it, and he can be stern in his presentation/defense of that. He definitely carries his nobleness, but he's not scummy like Front-de-Beouf or Beamanois, or mean.

Wow! We have our first drafted chapter already! My apologies, folks, but I don't think I'll get to the detailing of that until after New Years. (Not that it'll be holding anything up, but kinda fun to see it reach this stage.)

Hi, Tom! Chapters 19 and 20 are both PL OK for Narrator

(Our black cat, Navarre, apparently really enjoys your reading - he sits himself on his haunches under the Christmas tree 10 feet away and vocalizes along with you each time your voice starts up.)

Inter-species appreciation means a lot to me. Stroke Navarre for me.

Thank you! I don't see that option popping up anywhere. I will keep my eyes open but it doesn't seem to be there.

Volume increased in these next recordings  Does it need more?
