Foreign Language passages

Hello, I am considering a book with some passages in German followed immediately by an English translation. May I omit the German passages if I indicate the translations are translated from the German?

Hello! No, we record all text as published and we don't change it in any way, to omit, or add.
If you don't speak the foreign language, you can ask someone who speaks it to make a recording of it, and either try and reproduce it yourself, or use that in your recording.
