Greetings -

I am also listening to the Old Testament from The Basic Bible and MrsHand divided up Psalms into sections of 15 Psalms each. This resulted in sections ranging from 11 1/2 minutes to 39 minutes.

If you do them one at a time, you run into the situation where the introduction and closing will probably be longer than the Psalm itself (witness Psalm 117).

I, too, will leave it to your best judgement other than to say that I think you will start to lose listeners' attention after the 12 minute mark (just from personal experience). If you want to do them one at a time, I will probably wait and DPL them in groups of five.

Thanks for doing this. God bless you with patience and persistence.

Thank you both for your thoughtful replies and encouragement to go with my gut!
For this project I will continue to record individual Psalms.
Lomond, feel free to PL in whatever size chunks you want, waiting for a few to be uploaded at a time, sounds good to me! I'm not worried about it! I appreciate your PL work so much!!

I've uploaded Ps 12 today bc I'm having issues with my mic all of a sudden... or perhaps as I gain experience, I'm more aware of sounds that probably have been with me from the beginning, I just didn't know to listen for them  So I've recorded and re-recorded Ps 8 and the next few so many times that I'm totally overthinking it. I'll come back to these.

Greetings -

Just a couple of "snip" edits and this one will be PL OK.

TIME: 00:52 TEXT: "I will set [him] in safety," COMMENT: This phrase is repeated.

TIME: 01:20 COMMENT: After "End of Psalm 12", there is a ten second silent period and then Verse 8 is repeated.
