White Horse Girl and Blue Wind Boy is PL OK. I never heard this tale before. It's very imaginative. Thanks for contributing.

The Undertaker's Horse is PL OK. And I sincerely wish you a safe and enjoyable trip, and that you DO NOT "hit the road"! In fact, I insist upon it. :D  :D

I have just come across this and am setting it up as a group project, but readers may be interested in reading a section for this collection. Note to readers: you cannot use the same recording in both projects per Librivox policy! https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/71972

Thank you Elsie, Tommy and SJMatte. For some reason I have not been getting notifications on this project. I look forward to listening shortly.

Thank you Lynne for the link. I have been looking for something to read for this collection myself and will check this out.

Welcome to Librivox. Sorry it took me so long to acknowledge your contribution. Thank you. The poem and your reading are lovely.

The only thing to be careful of in future, on each project you participate on, is to name the file EXACTLY as shown in the first post, which says:

Save files as:
128 kbps MP3
cbc38_shorttitleinoneword_readersinitials_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case)

I recommend the "copy and paste" method to be sure you always get it right. In this case, I re-named your file and re-uploaded it myself so you can see the differences clearly:

Thanks Elsie, for these two contributions.

PL Note on Horse-Breeding and Horse-Racing

6:44 for syste-mati-cally testing young horses, you say system-ically

Who knew the reason for horse racing was to mainly to aid the military in testing the success of its breeding programs. That has probably changed as wars aren't fought much on horseback nowadays. Still, it's big big entertainment with lots of gambling money and pride involved. A very interesting story, indeed.

Silver Horseshoes is PL OK. A delightful tale, Tommy, delightfully told.

I do wonder how the king got his daughter up into that tower that nobody else could reach. And how the witch got the shoes? And why princesses are always beautiful? And why this, and why that. Oh wait, it is a fairy tale!
