Hi Everyone,
Here is my test. I used Audacity and an Audio-technica AT2020 cardioid condenser microphone with a pop filter.

Appreciate any feedback!
Thanks,

Hi and welcome to both of you! I agree, you sound great! The only thing that needs adjusting is the volume as it needs to be increased a bit. This could be accomplished by a combination of bringing the microphone closer, increasing the input volume before recording, and/or amplifying the recording in post-production. Increasing the volume may also increase the background white noise, so it's worth looking into Noise Reduction if that happens: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noisecleaning_With_Pics
For a visual hint at correct volume in Audacity, you should aim for a waveform that reaches above the 0.5 mark (just not all the way up/down, to avoid clipping):
or in numbers, we aim at 89dB (within a range of 86-92db). I use the Checker to measure the volume of mp3 files: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker but there are other ways, like the ReplayGain plugin for audacity https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=ReplayGain
Please ask if there are questions, or post another sample when you're ready!
