Oh that was a good story and has potential with sequels or different endings!
Thank you, Dale! PL OK!

Hiya, here's another one!

7B Coney Court by Arthur Machen

The above source requires a subscription to display it (which is how I read it). But since I assume you don't, I copied the text to a PDF and put it on archive for you:

Ever heard of a ghost that pays rent? :)

Thank you digitizer! I noticed a funny little thing, mentioning it as an optional edit, in case you'd like to fix, at around 13:40 for "where Dr. Stein had absent-mindedly left his gloves", I hear "absently-minded" I will mark PL OK, but you can upload another version if you decide to.

Well if it pays rent, I might not mind a ghost in my attic

The Terrible Old Man
H.P. Lovecraft
5:52 seconds
Narrated by Aaron Sproule

Audio: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor070_terroldman_sproule_ams_128kb.mp3

test: https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Weird_Tales/Volume_8/Issue_2/The_Terrible_Old_Man

https://archive.org/details/WeirdTalesV08N02192608/page/n47/mode/2up

Put both down just in case one did not work. Got the wikisource as a text used in the collected public domain works collection. As an aside, what other flash fiction short stories are there, horror or otherwise?

If you check flavo5000's lists in Book Suggestions (or linked in his signature a few posts above) he offers word counts in some of the titles so you can browse for some shorter stories there perhaps.

Thank you for your recording! I will listen tomorrow
