I'd agree to PL 3 for you, and I know you'd like feedback as you go, but first I think you should follow Jo's directions and request a DPL in Listeners Wanted. Most DPL's want to listen to the whole novel so they don't miss any of the plot, character development, etc. At least that's what I do for a chapter book like this one.

So dangle your hook in the water. I'll stay subscribed to the topic to see what bites. I'm sure someone will come along. They always do.

Thanks for all your help. I couldn’t have started all this without you. Thanks for all your patience. Was wondering- could you double check the word count for chapter 9? I ran it through 4 times, and it was right around 4700x but the recording is more than 30 minutes.

Maureen. Words counts are not necessary for solos, so don't worry about it.

Very intriguing.

Thanks - Ch8 has a couple of minor PL notes.

1) There is a very short repetition at 15:43 "which made her" that ought to be deleted.

2) Ar 30:32 I suggest there should be a slight pause between "... the bluff overlooking Dark - " and "The voice of the clock...". As it is, it sounds like the same sentence with a glitch (which it's not).

Hi Doreen
Ch9 has one very minor PL note. At 17:15 ‘also to the leaving of the stick’ has a very slight jump in the audio.
