Not to contradict Jo's advice, but I always find Word Count useful to pace my own expectations when I begin to record a section. Do I need to plan for a 10 minute window, or a 30 or 40 minute window. Of course, it's up to you.

If a DPL doesn't come along right away, I can fill in til one shows up.

I am curious what Effects you are using to process your finished audio. By the flat-top look of the wave form in Audacity, I'd guess either Compression or Loudness Normalization, which used to excess tends to muffle s's so they sound like th's. If so, I recommend you back off a bit on the Compression in future files. A little "spikiness" in the wave form gives it better dynamic range.

Hi Doreen. As a soloist, you are also your own BC (Book Coordinator), so it is up to you to keep the MW up to date. When you upload a file, you need to to copy the url and paste it into the Listen URL column in the MW (section compiler), enter the length of the file in the Notes column and change the status to Ready for PL. I've updated the first two sections in the MW as an example.

Since this is your first project as soloist/book coordinator(BC), you will need to set up a password for access to the workflow system so you can enter the information into the section compiler which then appears in the "Magic Window" in the top post. Here are some links to detailed instructions for logging into the system and setting a password the first time, as well as for entering and editing information in the section compiler.

I went ahead and PL'd Chapter 2 while you await a DPL. It is PL OK. Of course you'll have to mark the MW yourself. You're doing great, Doreen!

Thanks Michele. I updated them to PL OK. Was not able to change the numbers to Roman Num No matter how many times I clicked the table cel, the regular numbers would not let me change them.

The section numbers are automatic. Roman numerals don't sort in numerical order.
