Sections 7, 11 are PL OK!
Looking at the Table of Contents on the text,
Chapter 13 is entitled: "Thanksgiving Days appointed by the States"
and Chapter 14 is "Christian Scenes in the Capitol of the Republic”
contrary to MW
Chapter 13 is a MONSTER; it goes from 560-601 (States’ proclamations, in small print)
then Marriage 601-604
then 605-612
are statements by the succeeding Presidents of Thanksgiving and Christian faith.
Looking this over, Chapter 14 is no sissy, either. 613-633 with much fine print
I’m wondering if a determined individual might consider dividing these up into more manageable portions. It’s understandable that we’ve not had a lot of volunteer readers; it’s pretty tough sledding.
I hate to be a quitter, but since I’m working on another largish project, I’m going to have to surrender my claim for now.

If I misread your earlier request for the chapter I apologize, but the Thanksgiving chapter is 23, not 13 - sections 63 through 67 in the MW. Just wanted to be sure since a little confirmation is in order plus if I need to make fixes to the MW that are not readily apparent to me ATM. I'll remove your claim for now. Let me know how things shake out and if you can hold onto your claim after all.Owlivia wrote: ↑August 6th, 2023, 7:46 pm Looking at the Table of Contents on the text,

This is, to be sure, an incredibly large book but I knew that when I took over from someone else. It has a lot of interesting things in the footnotes and I'm looking forward to listening to this when its done.

I'm surprised I didn't add the seconds, sorry about that.
