Hi Dave, a wonderful reading as always! Only one PL note, optional of course: the first 30 secs (the intro) are very much quieter than the rest of the file -- almost 7 decibels quieter -- resulting in a big jump in loudness at 0.30. (Might be startling to a listener using these files to fall asleep! ) I think it would enhance the listener's experience to amplify just the first 30 secs by about 5.5 decibels to smooth out the volume level.
I jotted down for myself this pithy and practical maxim: "In Good, the heart is comforted; in Evil, it is troubled" -- if one should ever find himself confused about which is which!
Considering that this sermon was addressed to (presumably) young men -- it's surprising in its subject, its imagery, and some unexpectedly carnal language! I wonder what the novices made of it?

May I take sections 28 & 29 please.
All yours, Brandon, thank you!
Cheers,
Patrick
Whoops, I was looking at the Sermon numbers. Could swap Section 28 (Sermon XXVII continued) out at take Section 17 (Sermon XVII. Of Shunning Vainglory and Pursuing Humble Obedience) instead please?
