There's apparently a problem in our catalog that I want to try to get a handle on.

From Facebook:
I go to the page which list the books (https://librivox.org/) which is in release date order
I scroll down
I hit "More Audiobooks"
The next page comes up in alphabetical order, and no matter how often I hit Release Date I get the list in alphabetical order starting with the numerical titles
Does this happen to you, or are they sorted by most recently released as they should be?

When you post, please include:
- Browser and operating system
- Anything else that might be helpful

So far, two people on FB:
Google Chrome & Windows 11
Firefox & Windows 10
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

I've tested with Firefox & Windows 10 Home.

Everything works fine.
When I hit 'More Audiobooks' the side switches to the fist side of the catalog page with order by release date.
At the bottem of the page, I see links to side 2, 3, 4 ... 733.

It also does not happen for me on my phone:
Firefox & Android

But this seems related:
When I hit that "more audiobooks >>" link, I see books sorted by release date. When I click any of those books, and then use the "Back" button to get back to the list... it sorts alphabetically instead, even though the address is exactly the same both before and after:
https://librivox.org/search?primary_key=0&search_category=title&search_page=1&search_form=get_results

Getting to that address directly or by the back button, it's alphabetical. Getting there by clicking the 'more audiobooks' link, it's by release date. If it helps narrow things down, that 'more audiobooks' button links here first:
https://librivox.org/search/title
which then 'redirects' to that other address.
On the go this weekend! Will catch up Monday if I'm not able to do things on mobile.

I have no problem on Mac with Chrome.

It sounds like it may have something to do with the cookie settings with certain users. Could always put it in a code fix to flush the cache whenever sort is selected. That would probably prevent that from happening.

It works correctly with Firefox, Chrome and Chromium under Linux (Mint 21.2 Cinnamon).

I can confirm this bug on Firefox as well as Chromium (Chrome for linux, so I would assume it exists in Chrome as well).

Yes, that's a known one, but it's not the same bug described on Facebook.

Literally:
- Go to librivox.org
- Click on "more audiobooks"
Result two people are getting is alphabetized rather than in release date order.
