I still can't find publication information. We need to ascertain Public Domain status of the text. This is done by knowing the year of publication/edition for these two poems, because post-1927 editions are most probably copyrighted.

Oh dear, I forgot about US copyright laws. As far as I can tell, they appeared first on disc in around 1930, and in print in 1932 in the UK. I would guess that they were never published in the US.

Hi Rapunzelina:

This is my first posting since the 1 minute test approval. I would like to be credited under the name: vahnikah.

I found the following short story-parable under the Project Gutenberg.

Title: Critics (From: The Forerunner His Parables and Poems)
Author: Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931)
Text: https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/54580/pg54580-images.html
MP3: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc242_critics_vah_124kb.mp3
Duration: 2m17.876s

I have 2 other recordings from this author, if there is enough room. Let me know!

Thanks,
Vahnikah

Hi Vahnikah! Welcome to Librivox!

As this is a short story-parable, I would suggest offering it to the Short Story collection viewtopic.php?t=98106

What do you think :?:

There's enough room for any poems you may have recorded :D

Thanks Rapunzelina!

I will post in the thread you have suggested for short stories- it seems my recordings are literally for the author's parables as opposed to his poems.

When I have some poems recorded, I'll definitely post in this thread!

All the best,
vahnikah.
