msfry wrote: July 10th, 2023, 8:56 am Been trying for 20 minutes to open my onboard app. Now trying to access Zoom website. It says it sent a verification code for me to sign in but so far haven't received the email. I am keeping calm -- for the moment.
It's telling me you have another meeting in progress. Just so you know!

Oh, OK. I wondered whether it was a problem at my end.

I joined by going into the zoom app and putting in the meeting code and password. Message says it’s waiting for the host.

Well, folks, looks like I won't be hosting anything today. Can't reach anyone at Zoom and don't know what to do. Now I am upset. Sorry Mark, and everyone who planned to come. I'll let you know when I figure out what gives. Maybe re-schedule for next Monday?

It says you've not started the meeting... now we know why!
I tried joining with both the Edge and Google browsers.
Same results.

Next Monday will be OK by me if it's OK bayou.

I see what you did there!

I think I'll wander off and try again next time.

EDIT: The impromptu meeting linked below is over. Don't try to join, eh? Sorry !!!! :(

If anyone wants to join me I will open another meeting in a minute here https://www.google.com/url?q=https://us05web.zoom.us/j/88165711275?pwd%3DOFFzblRTTHpjZ1hURWE0TFR0NGhMZz09&sa=D&source=calendar&usd=2&usg=AOvVaw2Okgn2cVOiIroPy_nSd6VZ

It starts at 11:30 but I will open it now. If Michele gets hers going we can switch. :D
We can just chat for a few minutes until noon.

but that doesn't seem to work either.

Well, I don't! Not to my knowledge, anyway. I'm trudging through my account now, looking for when I last paid up. You'd think that would be obvious, but it isn't. Finally found it! I'm paid up thru August 16th 2023. So that's not why it malfunctioned. Still looking for other causes.

Who knows anything about Zoom Whiteboards? It says I've paid for that but I don't know what it is.

Ah, like drawing circles and arrows on a whiteboard???????? That could have come in handy for the extra $30/year. But just a mouse pointer is all I ever used. Maybe all participants could be enabled to use the markers and draw on the screen of whomever is sharing. That could be fun . . . . :P
