Nope! Not good. I do highly recommend Zatarains Red Bean Seasoning Mix. Add that to a # of red beans, add 1 lb of Manda's or other link sausage, simmer 2 hours per package directions, serve over rice. Easy to fix, enough for 8-12, freezes well, and mmmmmmmm, c'est si bon!

It even sounds good in print! Thank you, Michele.

July's "First Monday's" Zoom Chat" is scheduled for July 10th. Full invite is in my signature below. Please spread the word.

I'd appreciate knowing if you're coming, (so I'll know how many cinnamon buns to bake).

Topic: Slide Presentation by Mark Nelson on "“Instant Accents" followed by Q&A; Bill Jones presenting "How To Use WordsToTime"; a progress report by Michele on our Wikipedia Links Project; BRAGS; plus whatever else comes up. Dig around in your toolbox for something you want to share with your LV buddies, especially if it might help newbies master our craft, or anything else you've unearthed in our forums that nobody knows is there.

Time: July 10th, 2023 11:00 AM Central Time (US and Canada).
Duration: 1 hour
Log in 5 minutes ahead to set up your Real Name (username) so we know what to call you, adjust your audio and video, etc.
Recording will start at 11.
Host: Michele Fry

NOTICE: Participation includes your awareness of and agreement for us to record and release these sessions to the Public Domain.

I'll try to make it.

(You might need to make an extra cinnamon bun or two to compensate for Zoom's video compression.)

Ugh! I can’t believe it, but I can’t make the Zoom session again! Completely forgot about already scheduled dental appointments this coming Monday. Oh well, my teeth should look pretty for the August session! 😁

(EDIT: Michele, I like my cinnamon bun with extra gluten, double glaze and pipin' hot. ) (Oh, and a pat of butter on top)

Been trying for 20 minutes to open my onboard app. Now trying to access Zoom website. It says it sent a verification code for me to sign in but so far haven't received the email. I am keeping calm -- for the moment.
