Hi
I have implemented your suggestions regarding the intro and added 10 seconds to Stave 2.
The 2 modified Staves are posted in the MW.
The Preface is awaiting a slot in the MW
Thank you for your suggestions and help.

Peter

As I have admin access, I have added the section 0 for the preface, hoping Maria doesn't mind my interfering, and have marked the three sections PL OK!

Mouthwatering descriptions at the baker's!
At 12:28, I think a line was skipped, text is "or that the canisters were rattled up and down like juggling tricks, or even that the blended scents of tea and coffee were so grateful to the nose,"
Around 26:47 a line was repeated "the table, and a shovel-full of chestnuts on the fire. Then all the Cratchit family drew round the hearth,"
At 30:18. the text is "not for his. Long life to him!", but it was read as one sentence "not for his long life to him."
At 42:03 a line was skipped, text is "“Oh, I have!” said Scrooge’s nephew. “I am sorry for him; I couldn’t be angry with him if I tried. Who suffers by his ill whims! ..."
At the end, it should be "End of stave 3" instead of 4.

Hi
I have finished Stave 5 it just needs editing. The death of a good friend and old Comrade has knocked me sideways for a while.
Hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your patience.

Hi Peter, a heart-warming chapter
A couple of pl notes:
there's a repetition 2:38-2:44 "Really, for a man who had been out of practice --"
the beginning of the phrase at 9:03 "If you please, said Scrooge." sounds a bit cut off, just in case it can be improved. If it cannot, I think it can still be understood.

This is spot-checked PL OK!
Just a note for Maria, as I noticed the filenames just now when I went in to mark it PL OK, the last two files end with kbps instead of kpb. Maria can fix at cataloguing.
I agree a wonderful Christmas tale!
