Thanks! I'll add these, but let's not load up the suggested texts with too many 18-- years. We could have an endless list of those (and "eighteenth century")! :)

Here is The eighteenth amendment and its enforcement.
Address by Wayne B. Wheeler, LL. D. at the National conference, Washington, D. C., September 15, 1920. [Westerville, Ohio. 1920].

This just goes to show, amendments to the US constitution are possible to make, but complicated to enforce, and despite this author's certainty to the contrary at the time, possible to be repealed.

Thesse anniversary collections are always interesting.

I would like to read the introduction and Chapter 1 of

The Story of the Sun
New York, 1833-1918
By Frank M. O’Brien

Ah, so this is the story of The Sun newspaper? I think that should be okay, with "New York, 1833-1918" as part of the title.

Yes. I would definitely include 1833-1918 as part of the title. I think it will be interesting.

I liked this story quite a bit with its blend of time travel and a Faustian bargain.
PL OK! Yes, an interesting story. Slow to start, but rather fascinating after the Devil appears.

Yes, I did a double take when you said "Order of the Camel," but sure enough...
