Thank you. I hate making any errors, especially ones that I made without paying proper attention.Kitty wrote: ↑June 3rd, 2023, 11:02 amyes these things happen. Well, it wasn't clear to me that the names here were needed, but glad to do the corrections along with the rest.Kitty wrote: ↑June 3rd, 2023, 2:06 amvery well done and you didn't miss any asides, but the problem with these old scripts is that often the aside is put after the speech it refers to, so there are a few names that need be inserted. I hope I found them all, it was quite tricky sometimes assessing when the aside started. But apart from that, excellent job, as always. Thank you.
Act 1:
> at 1:45: repeat of "Peter read by" - Peter has been mentioned before, so can be cut at this place
> at about 2:00: please insert "Scene: Portugal" at the end of the dramatis personae and before "Prologue"
Act 2:
> at 1:28: (p. 23) "Sebastian and Viola" - you usually said "vee-ola", here you say "vye-ola"
> at 1:39: (p. 23) "Viola coming forward" - same here
> at 3:08: (p. 28) "Viola aside" - you forgot the name
> at 3:16: (p. 28) "Viola aside" - same here
> at 3:26: (p. 29) "Viola aside" - same here
> at about 3:38: (p. 29) please insert: "Exit"
Act 3:
> at 0:54: (P. 34) "Henry aside" - you forgot the name
Act 4:
> at 0:29: (p. 45) "Octavio aside" - please insert name
> at 0:49: (p. 46) "Octavio aside" - same here
> at 1:57: (p. 50) "Alexis spitefully" - same here
> at 2:02: (p. 50) "Alexis aside" - same here
Act 5:
> at 3:20: (p. 61) "Antonia mournfully" - please insert name
> at about 7:33: (p. 74) missed line: "to the house"
> at the end: (p. iii-ix) you forgot to read the opening adress at this point. I think Todd wanted it included at the end, so there won't be any spoilers
Sonia
yes it's kinda hard sometimes to find out which part of the sentence is the aside. I totally understand. At some sentences I spent nearly 2 minutes figuring it out from the context. Todd might even overrule my judgement in the end (if he dares).silverquill wrote: ↑June 4th, 2023, 12:35 amWell, it wasn't clear to me that the names here were needed
Okay, here is Act V with the two little corrections and the addition of "An Address" at the end.Kitty wrote: ↑June 3rd, 2023, 2:06 am

Hmm, listening to myself again, I do tend to slur the "ia" a bit and there's not a lot of difference in my normal accent between that and "io" on the end of a name. I'll keep that in mind for future works.Kitty wrote: ↑June 2nd, 2023, 6:09 am a great character as well, a mix of hothead and cavalier. Well portrayed, thanks. My ears may be a bit bad because I constantly hear "Antonio" instead of "Antonia", but I'm sure you said it correctly throughout, I trust you there.
So only one small bit to correct:
Act 1:
> at 1:31: (p. 4) "I fought to punish" - you say "sought"
Sonia
thanks, that was an interesting introduction to the play. Very well narratedsilverquill wrote: ↑June 5th, 2023, 1:23 pmOkay, here is Act V with the two little corrections and the addition of "An Address" at the end.
