Wow Brie, what an introduction to Librivox. Your reading was outstanding. I can tell you are not a rookie at this sort of stuff. I am so looking forward to hearing more of your work.

There are only two small house-keeping things that you should correct so as to meet all of the LV (Librivox) standards. At the beginning, could you cut the opening silence to between .5 and 1 second, and at the end, cut the ending silence down to about 5 seconds.

Also, when you post a file name on the forum for Proof Listening, could you also put the total time of the recording? In this case, as it stands now, 37:07, but of course it will be a little shorter with the changes noted above. When posting the corrected file, please note the corrected time. These times are posted so as to let the future listener know how much time they are 'committed' for that recording.

What all this means is that you go into your original submission, correct those small things I noted, the proper silences at the beginning and the end, then resubmit the fixed recording with the new running time. I will then listen again, but only to those two small items, and then, if done properly (which I am sure they will be) I will give you a PLOK for the reading.
