Good morning everyone,
I'm getting some consistent digital clicks while recording in Audacity lately. I've verified that it's not a plosive (I use windsocks and it happens regardless of distance from the microphone), not a background noise from my recording room, and I've changed microphones to make sure it's not a microphone or cable issue (one is a blue yeti, the other is a smule that uses phantom power and entirely different cords). I'm still get a digital tick, however.
Open to suggestions for corrections!

If the clicks are similar to these three that I saved a while back, I fixed mine by changing the USB port that my Yeti microphone is plugged into.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried moving them to different USB's (adjacent to, below, and front of the P.C.) but I'm still getting the clicking issue. (Also reinstalled Audacity but no luck there either).
However, moved from my main PC to my laptop aaaand no more clicking noise. So I'll record on there in the interim while I try to figure out the issue for the main PC.
At least I know it's not a hardware problem with the microphones.
Thank you again! I'll keep trying to puzzle this out...
