Thank you for taking on this longer poem!
It is a good reading.
Just a few things that need attention.
1). The volume is too low at only 85.1 decibels. Our target is 89 with an acceptable range of 86-92 dBs.
This one you can fix by using the amplify feature in Audacity. Just set it for 3 dBs
Of course it is best to work with your settings and recording setup to get your raw recording closer to the target.
Here is a little program that will give you actual decibel reading and also check for other LV specs:
Checker
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker, written specifically for LibriVox. Just drag a file into the Checker window to check validation on all LV specs, including a readout of actual volume in decibels. Use the Amplification feature in Audacity to bring the volume closer to the LV target of 89 dB
Here is another method demonstrated by Phil Chenevert:
89 Decibels? Easy Peasy !

2) The silence at the end is just a bit too long. We like something close to 5 seconds, and this has 6 seconds.
I also find the pause between the end of your narration too long. I usually aim for about just one 1 second, 2 at the most. Same for the gap between the intro and beginning of the reading of the poem. Too much dead space is usually uncomfortable to the listener.
At any rate, please adjust the volume and ending silence, then upload under the same file name and post the new link and time here again for a quick check.
And, since you expressed a desire to read something else by this author, I will put you in for Section 39 The Brush which is our last open section (pending one I'm holding). If you don't want to record this, let me know.
