Hi, I need help.

So I want to start a DR sometime late summer, but I got so confused when it came time to add the sections.
I could not understand how many sections to add, and I was wondering if anyone could help me with that? :help:

Thanks

The DR I wanted to do is The Box-Car Children.
Here is a link to the color-coded script I made, if that might help: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1b3Qen2zpNnILbTPjA7dmgGJy9dGtWsb-LzIba52waIY/edit?usp=sharing

- 1 section per chapter, for the finished files
- 1 section per chapter for the narrator
- 1 section for each reader in each chapter.

So if it's a 3 chapter book, with a narrator and:
- chapter 1 has 2 characters that speak
- chapter 2 has 5 characters that speak
- chapter 3 has 4 characters that speak

you'd need:

3 sections for finished files, plus
3 sections for the narrator (one per chapter), plus
2 sections for characters in chapter 1, plus
5 sections for characters in chapter 2, plus
4 sections for characters in chapter 3, equals
-------
17 sections

Keep in mind:
(1) you'll probably have to do all the editing
(2) you have to be VERY organized to run a DR; we recommend running a regular group project first, or doing a 1-act play to get experience: viewtopic.php?t=96958

Dramatic works (especially dramatic readings) are the Iron Man triathlons of LibriVox and not for novices.

Ok, I'll try one of those. :)
Where could I find a one act play?

Never mind about finding a play, I found some on Gutenberg.

One act plays go here: viewtopic.php?t=96958

The nice thing about running a one-act is that the MW work is done for you. It'll still be your responsibility to PL or find a PLer, edit or find an editor, and to acknowledge claims and submissions by readers in the thread.
