Unfortunately there is also the N-word which I was totally not prepared for! But I just read it as it's in the original text, it refers to the name of the horse which I hope doesn't put in too many appearances in future!!

another excellent chapter, I'm happy that Mrs Fiander can assert herself.

Textually all ok, but I would suggest one small edit:

> at the beginning: we recommend not exceeding 1 second of silence, as it feels too long for the audio to start...you have nearly 3 seconds here, could you cut it down to under 1 please ?

As for the name of the horse...I always say it's just "words" and words as such don't do harm and definitely do not make you racist in any way. Especially not if you read them from old books. I never had any problem with reading anything like that. It was another time and should be taken as such and not reflect on our mindset nowadays. Don't be afraid of words

It's actions that we should be more weary of.

I've shaved some seconds off the front of the last section (7) so it's ready for PL again. I've got a few more on the way, will try not to bombard you all at once!

Usually I post a section once it's done and edited and I don't wait for many chapters to finish before uploading. It's more spaced out for the DPLer then.

super, another great chapter finished and PL ok. Now here I thought Prince Charming had arrived, but the painter is married with 6 kids....probably not the one who will end up with the lovely widow unless there is tragedy in his life as well.

those gossips were really hilarious to listen to. You do it great with the different voices. Well, Rosalie seems to like the old men better, so Sharpe might well be in the picture

still interesting plot...

Hi Sonia, happy new year to you! Here is Chapter 10, I have one chapter already recorded that I need to edit, then I can start on the next part where I think we might see the real Prince Charming appear.. because all the other men in her life are pretty horrendous

There are two instances (but I didn't make a note of when they occurred) where it sounds like I repeat myself but it's the way it's written in the book, she sort of hesitates and says the same word twice.

I noticed, but as I always read along with the text, I saw it was in the original as well.

The men in Rosalie's life all seem to be out to marry her (or rather her farm). And the nasty trick with the cheese was very low

hmmm it looks to me like Rosalie always wants to hook up with elderly men, who won't ask much of her in marital duties

and then there's hope they quickly die off again, leaving her an even richer widow.

And PL ok again...now I'm curious how this will go on.
