Hmm, same one (2:32)! oh, and the volume is a bit low at 86.1 dB.LeeSalter wrote: ↑June 2nd, 2023, 11:06 am I'm gonna keep trying until the right one gets posted. Running time is 2:42

Thanks for this really interesting poem!
Scotty
last verse - I hear"My foes are all dead! It must be then..." text reads "My foes are dead! "
last line - I hear "And friends I've had not a one." text reads "And friends I had not one."

Thanks, David!
I uploaded a file with fixes

In last verse I replaced 'are all' with 'are' (I would have redone the whole phrase but this recording was a few days ago and experimenting with a new mixer I got for karaoke that also acts as interface and I used built in settings for eq and reverb that I cannot remember what they were so is hard to match, haha)
I removed 'a' from 'not a one' but couldn't hear the 'I've' as it sounds to me like I did say just 'I had'

Your last upload is the same shorter one(s). (all four files in the uploader show the same size) Try uploading with a different set of initials to set the new file apart from the originals.

Here's another prisoner denying his friends:

I would normally submit with the initials wa, but I see that Will Anthony has the same initials, so I've tossed in my middle initial too to avoid any confusion or file overwriting, etc.
Cheers,
