This is starting to turn into a discussion that has the real probability of becoming contentious. Since we don't allow contentious topics here (politics, religion, even current events often get the kibosh), I'm going to close this thread.

There are other places online where the dangers of AI can be discussed freely. While we have an off-topic section, our main purpose on this site is to make audiobooks, and we discourage discussions that may turn people off and drive them away from helping us out.
