Yes, it is and you may. But before I can assign that chapter to you, I need to know how you would like to be credited in our catalogue? What name? Most of us use our real names but it’s your choice. It could be your forum name or anything else. It might be what you say at the start of each reading: "read by ......" so people will be able to find your recordings. We can also link to a personal web site/blog, if you have one.
Once I have that name, I can set up your catalogue page and assign you the chapter.

Ok, looks good. We generally list the time as the total time, including the 5 second silence, so I’ll list the length on yours as 6:36 rather than 6:30.

Hi Alister,
The background noise is fine according to the Checker, but your volume is indeed too low at 82.3 dB (we aim for somewhere between 86 and 92, with 89 being the sweet spot).
The good news is that you don't need to rerecord. Just amplify it in Audacity (select the entire track and then choose "Amplify" under "Effects" and put 6.7 into the Amplification (dB) box and click Apply to bring it up to 89).
