Ribbon in the Sky, by Murray Leinster (1896 - 1975)

This project is now in our catalog at https://librivox.org/ribbon-in-the-sky-by-murray-leinster/

Volunteers outside the USA: Murray Leinster died in 1975. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 70 years for authors who died after 1971; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
Med Service man Calhoun and his sidekick Murgatroid run into another sizeable speed bump on their assigned visits to the planets of their sector to spread health. "It turned out afterward that somebody had punched the wrong button in a computer." and this time it was a real doozie mistake, sending them into the vast unknown areas of the universe with no way to get back. IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Part 4 is in the magic window and I have (hopefully ) removed that repeat in part 2.

Larry, I am very impressed with all you have done in the past 10 years. I knew you were a dedicated and active guy, but your record is impressive!! LibriVox has bee very lucky to have attracted you and your skills. I would like to send you one of my highly sought after, handmade, "Memorial LibriVox Wire Thing-A-Ma-Bobs" to keep on your desk as a token of my appreciation. If you would PM me your address, I'll pop one in the mail. Look at what Anne did with the one I sent her https://librivox.org/red-shadows-version-2-by-robert-e-howard/ She used it on the cover art!

All chapters are now PL OK, although you might want to clean up the silence at the end of Section 4.

Congratulations on another Leinster solo!
