Captain Billy's Whiz Bang, Vol. 2, No. 21, June, 1921, by W. H. Fawcett (1885 - 1940)

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/captain-billys-whiz-bang-vol-2-no-21-june-1921-by-w-h-fawcett/

"Captain Billy's Whiz Bang" was an iconic magazine of wit and humor launched by W.H. Fawcett in 1919. Each 64-page issue was packed with jokes, quips, and humorous bits of writing. Each year it grew in popularity, and Fawcett’s success lead to the formation of the well-known Fawcett Publications, which issued Whiz Comics and introduced Captain Marvel. The magazine was immortalized in a line in the song “Trouble” from Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man.” This issue has articles from "Havana’s Passe Charms," to "Our Movie Gossips," and standard features such as "Drippings from the Fawcett," "Smokehouse Poetry," and "Pasture Pot Pourri." (Summary by Larry Wilson)

While we wait for the last section to come in for Vol 2 No 20, I thought we'd get the next issue on the launch pad.
Either I or lomond will be DPL

Hello there!

I would like to take Section 8, "Havana’s Passe Charms," and Section 15 "Film Feast Fights / An Arkansas Honeymoon," if you don't mind. Just wanted to do something different rather than what I normally do.
Thanks in advance, and I hope all is well with you! :) :) :)
