Here is chapter 7 - Publication of "Il Saggiatore"
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/galileo_07_bryant_128kb.mp3
(11:01)
In reading this chapter, I notice that the section title in the MW doesn't match the text. The MW says, Publication of the "Il Saggiatore", (which is redundant since "il" means "the"), whereas the text reads, Publication of "Il Saggiatore". I have no idea whether this makes a difference in the long run, but I'm mentioning it, just in case. Anyway, I've read it as written in the text (not MW).

I took out the "the" from the MW. You are right, it should not have been there, my fingers obviously decided that "the" was needed. Thank you!crystalpenny wrote: ↑June 10th, 2023, 7:50 pm Here is chapter 7 - Publication of "Il Saggiatore"

Thanks so much!
I realized have a question on Chapter 4... there is a line regarding an anagram "Haec immatura a me iam frustra leguntur o.y." (page 21 paragraph 3), and the anagram presented is not something that is in any real language. The translation of the anagram appears at the start of the next page. I was planning on reading this anagram phonetically but wanted to get a second opinion on that tactic.
Thanks in advance.
