In chapter 6, middle of page 94 (23:22), is the phrase, "If this [religious education] is commenced early enough, the habit of truthfulness may be developed in a child along with the faculty of speech..." I'm hearing, "If this is commended early enough, the habit of truthfulness may be developed in a child along with the faculty of speech..."
As this book has a standard level of proof listening rather than a word-for-word level, I don't want you to think that I'm nit-picking regarding changes requested. I've skipped by a number of minor unintentional changes because they didn't alter the meaning of the text, but in this one I felt that the change was significant enough to warrant correction.
On a positive note, I'm very impressed with the even, consistent tone of your reading; and especially so with the long 40 minute chapters.

In chapter 8, page 128, just below the middle of the page (at 18:31), is the sentence, "At least, the Divine operations of the gracious Spirit were apparently simultaneous with the awakening of consciousness." I'm hearing, "At least, the Divine operations of the gracious Spirit were apparently simultaneous with the awakening of conscience."

Chapter 9 is PL okay!
Thank you for including the footnote, "Alluding to the custom, during the plague in London, of marking the door with a large cross, and writing on it those words." It was very helpful.
At the beginning of the chapter, I'm somewhat surprised that Pugh didn't include among the examples of family worship Cain and Abel in Genesis 4:
"In the course of time Cain brought to the LORD an offering of the fruit of the ground, and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions." (Genesis 4:3-4 ESV) The practice of bringing offerings to God was no doubt taught them by their parents as a part of family worship. The fact that Cain had wrong motives doesn't negate the overall benefit of the worship practices taught him.
