Just one note that I'll leave you to decide what to do with.

04:51 Chocorua has been pronounced here with an initial hard "k" sound ("Koko-"). In the other chapters where it appears you've used "ch" ("Choko-").

I had an nasty suspicion that might have been the case.

Writing-wise, one of the better chapters in the book. I find some of Packard's whimsy a bit too much at time.
