Hello, everyone! I'm new here and I am excited to learn what LibriVox is all about. What I have observed so far is a community of dedicated and passionate volunteers. I am an enthusiastic amateur, who has messed around with sound recording and voice work in some form or fashion since I was a kid. I volunteered for a while reading live news to the blind through Virginia Voice, and (though not a part of my official job description) I occasionally get to record in-depth training videos at work (some ginormous Fortune 500 monolith you've probably heard of).
It's good to be with you.

All good experience!
I had my first taste of narration with Recording for the Blind in Los Angeles many years ago before audio books were a thing.
You'll find a wide variety of projects here, so get you test recording done, and jump right in.
