kddop indeed this was missed. I just put it into the magic window for prooflistening. :(
I just checked the magic window and I think this was missed. I submitted section 43 at the link above, where there any issues?

Hi there, I am signed up to read section 3, the Little Mermaid. It was supposed to be done on Saturday, but my schedule has been a bit crazy lately so I am not quite finished with editing. Could I please have until this weekend to get it turned in? Sorry, I should have contacted you sooner, but I completely forgot about it over the weekend.

Chapter 45 is another nicely read offering that needs a bit of adjustment before it can be listed as PL OK,

The audio is above the limit and needs to be dropped about five dB.

Thank you for your feedback!
Is this one better?

Hello,

Can someone please confirm if Section 2 and Section 6 recordings are okay. I don't see a 'PL OK' yet for both of them.

Thanks
Greenbean

Hi Greenbean and a big welcome to LibriVox! :D I have assigned that section to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. I see you have submitted your test already which is great.

Oh and Maria, our LibriVox pickle, can hardly contain her excitement Image

I also recommend Getting To Know our Forums Getting To Know Our Forums

We just want to check out your technical specs. Don't forget to post the link either in this thread or in our Post Your 1-Minute Test Recording Here forum.

And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you. This can be the same as your forum name, or anything else. This might be what you say at the start "read by ......" so people will be able to find your recordings.

Greenbean. I see that you have PL notes for section 2. Have you fixed those things and uploaded it again? I'll check on why he hasn't listened to 6 yet. Hang in there, we will get to t hem all. :D

Hi Greenbean. Your changes to the files 2 and 6 did not appear to have been done or you uploaded the original file again. I fixed 2 by adding 5 seconds of silence at the end. And 6 by shortening the beginning silence to less than 1 second and deleting the microphone bump. They are now marked PL OK so you do not need to change them. These editing fixes will become easier as time goes by and you get more practice.

Greetings -

Some notes on sections 13, 14, and 15:

Sections 13 and 14: Recordings need five seconds of silence at the end.

Section 15 has a repeat at the 01:54 mark, "End of section..."

Otherwise, these are PL OK offerings.
