I'm pretty sure its an early book of biographies printed in London, and all I really need to know is whether the title is pronounced with the abbreviation, or if people call it "Athena Oxford"? Or is that the place of publication? It is referenced in a book published during the 19th century, so the many William Woods which come up as modern users of the name on basic Google searches are false hits.

I would read that in full, as "Athena Oxoniensis", but whether you read it in full or not can be your decision as the soloist.
