Yay, thankyou, Laura!

I'm sorry there wasn't one this week ... I did give it some thought last weekend, and then had an actual idea on Wednesday -- but LibriVox was out all that day, and archive.org was out most of the evening, so ... the idea's been stored for future use.

Sean's up this week, though! Looking forward to that -- it's been a while since I've heard him.

Sean is having a hard time getting motivated for the community podcast this week. I'll take any and all user contributions to the podcast I can get. Is anyone interested in doing some old skool Librivox Stats for me?

Also, As LV has grown is possible to get involved, record or proofread tons of chapters, but stick to your own "street" in our global village. So there are whole bunches of people here at Librivox that I do not know very well. When I lived in the arctic they used to devote about 1/2 hour a day to community announcements such as birth and death announcements, or "Joe out on the trapline, please walk into town- your mother is in hospital". If anyone has that kind of announcement, send it to me either as a PM or mp3. You can send them to ductapeguy at hotmail dot com

The week I started my own cold, I did a forum search on the word 'cold' and gave a shout out to all the people who'd mentioned recent germy sufferings.

(I am STILL having germy sufferings. Bah humbug!)

I just dealt with a long standing round to it and signed up for a free personal K7 voicemail account for all my podcasting endeavors. If you want to send me voice feedback for the podcast you can leave a message at 206-337-0611 . The drawback is that it's a Seattle exchange and long distance charges apply, but it's another way to send me audio feedback.
