A Life of St. John for the Young, by George Ludington Weed (1828 - 1904)

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/a-life-of-st-john-for-the-young-by-george-ludington-weed/
This is a thorough treatment of the Apostle John whose life is intertwined with that of Christ, as one of the inner core and as the disciple "that Christ loved." He became a leader in the early church and penned the Fourth Gospel and three of his letters are included in the New Testament, and his culminating writing of The Revelation during his last days in exile on the Island of Patmos. The author includes some of the legends and traditions attaching to St. John. The writing is aimed at the young, but is not juvenile, but clear and easy to understand. (Summary by Larry Wilson)

This author does not seem to be in the database. The link provided is not Wikipedia, but does give a brief bio.

I hope it wouldn't be too early to claim Chapters 3-9 please. If I could, that would be sweet!

Thanks

 Not a problem.

Did you mention something about finding errors in the Gutenberg text?
I'm so absent minded, I can't remember who told me about it, or what project.

I know you've got a lot on your plate, Elijah.
Do you still want all of these sections?
Fine if you do; I just wanted to check.

Larry,

Just to let you know, I'm still interested in my claim. I've finally sent "A History of England" to the catalogue, so I'll have more time in the near future though real life is busy, too.
