Hello!
I was wondering what happens when a recording is complete. I just finished my section of the book I was collaborating on, and that book is nearly completely recorded. I would imagine it gets proof listened to in its entirety, but is it uploaded for listening by the public after that?

Hi Berlin,

when all sections are marked as PL OK, the book is complete. The MC will then catalog it and the completed project will get its own page in the LV catalog.
There is also a link to Internet Archive (IA), which provides us with the storage space and in whose catalog we also upload our audio books.
What is missing now is a cover, but that will also be created by volunteers and then added to the audio book.

Here you can find an example:
Project: viewtopic.php?t=96432
LV catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-food-of-the-gods-a-popular-account-of-cocoa-by-brandon-head/
IA catalog page: https://archive.org/details/the_food_of_the_gods_a_popular_account_of_cocoa_2303_librivox

From the catalog pages (LV or IA) everyone can download the audiobook.

I hope I could help you. Greetings, Bernd.
