Just letting all of you know that I am back to recording this project, because I was able to relocate sooner than January 1.
Ch. 12 "The Theatre" is ready for PL.
Sadly, I have to resign my DPL because I have learned that the author died in 1956 and therefore is not PD in Life+70. Keep up the good work!
I am sorry to see that you have to resign as DPL for this project because of Life+70. Is Life+70 a copyright law that is based on the country in which you reside or is it a worldwide copyright law? I live in the USA, and I do not want to infringe upon the copyright. Thank you for answering this question
Blessings!

It's based on country. The US is the exception - anything published 95 years ago or more is PD, irrespective of the author's death date. Every other country in the world (as far as I know), uses the author's death date - some +50, some +70.

Thank you again for this information. It is shame that the US does not follow the rest of the world in this matter.
Thank you for listening to Chapter 12 and letting me know that the PL and audio are fine. I will be submitting Chapter 13 by the end of next week. Chapter 14 is in-progress also. Will you continue to be the DPL for this project?
Thank you for being the DPL for this project. Just so you don't waist your time, all the chapters in the MW have already been approved by the previous DPL. However, you are more than welcome to listen to them. Since I am not a professional reader, and this is my first project, you will notice that some chapters are not as good as others. Try not to laugh to hard! Besides being the reader for this project, I am also the BC. I will change the status in the MW to "Ready for PL" when I submit the remaining chapters. Also, I will notify you, via this post, when I have submitted the next chapter. Again, thank you for your much needed assistance with completing this project.
I need the MC's and/or the DPL's opinion on the below sentence, found on page 178 of the source text:
"At the the suggestion of the chairman he was hurried from the room to appear before a commission on lunacy."
As I am editing this sentence, I noticed a repeat of the word "the". I omitted the second "the", because it does not sound correct saying it twice in succession.
