Hi Rapunzelina et al
Here is a recording of The Mortal Immortal By Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley.
I used this version: https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/56665/pg56665-images.html#ch08
time: 36min 38s
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor067_mortalimmortal_Shelley_GC_128kb.mp3
I hope this is ok, i'm not super happy with it and can do another take if you don't like it.
all the best
Glenn

Not necessarily; I will not ask you to add it, and I would not ask you to remove it had you included it.It's from Weird Tales Volume 1 number 1, should I include that in the recording?
SO, everything PL OK with your recording, which means I can start the cataloguing process!

Hi Glenn! I find this story brilliantly narrated, I don't know what makes you unhappy with it? It is a bit quieter than desired, but nothing that our smart cataloguing process can't fix. I will move it to the next collection though, as this one got filled with the story just before yours. I'll let you know once I have the new collection, and your story in it, so you'll know where it isGlennCarruthers wrote: ↑March 30th, 2023, 6:39 pm Hi Rapunzelina et al

sorry it took me so long to reply, i thought i couldn't reply on forums marked closed, but now i've found how to do it through my notifications. Thanks for your kind words, what I was worried about was there being a a sort of thumping noise coming through the mic (I think it might have been heavy breath at the start of some sentences?) Anyway I'm working out how to minimise that for future stories.
thanks again
Glenn
