well, I think Todd only meant "when in doubt, record all lines". Some here were clearly the father's. But yes, this script was one of the trickiest and messiest I've ever come across. So better one line too many than not enough ;)

an excellent job, Gale, thank you so much. In the beginning I thought Raymund is quite a melancholy boy but in that nunnery scene you turn quite mischievous  well done

Thanks, all acts PL ok

Todd: a few lines here are not for Raymond but his father. I think you can find out which ones, so he won't have to cut them all, now in the final stages.

now apart for Harry Clare we have all the lines in 8-)

Need new Henry (Harry) Clare. Original reader left a couple sections undone or incomplete, and hasn't been heard of in two months.

New reader should just do everything Harry again. (A tad confusing since Sir Arthur Clare is also in the play and stage directions don't always differentiate clearly between them. Rule: when in doubt, record it!)

(Posted over in Orphan's as well.)

Henry Act I (1:43): https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/merrydevilofedmonton_harryclare_1.mp3
Henry Act II (0:17): https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/merrydevilofedmonton_harryclare_2.mp3
Henry Act III (0:53): https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/merrydevilofedmonton_harryclare_3.mp3
Henry Act IV (1:22): https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/merrydevilofedmonton_harryclare_4.mp3
Henry Act V (0:27): https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/merrydevilofedmonton_harryclare_5.mp3

I am confident that I recorded at least one scene's worth of lines that weren't actually mine, but hopefully I managed to catch all of the lines that were mine.

 yes I think you did indeed, and a great and challenging job it was peeling my eyes out for them and making a judgement call which lines are Young Clare's  I liked your portrayal of him, boyish and plotting, and still serious in a way.

Acts 2, 3 and 4 are straight PL ok. That means they are all ready for the final edit 8-)

PL notes for Act 1:

> at 1:14: " Nor ever in my life did see the man" - you forgot "see the"

PL notes for Act 5:

> at 0:12, 0:15 and 0:22: "Is't even so?", "Young Master Jerningham, were you an actor In your own love's abuse?" and "Then thus conclude your night of merriment!" judging from the tone and what has been said, I think the last three quotes were Old Clare's lines so they can be cut here. Beeswaxcandle also read them as his Sir Arthur lines.

thanks for the fast turn-around to help bring this play to a close :9:
