Hi
Welcome to LibriVox
I see that you have completed your 1-minute test
I have reserved section 33 for you.

I first need to register you as a Reader. To do this I need to know what name you would like to appear in the catalogue with your recordings. This can be your forumname, real name or anything else.
Good luck!

Let me know if there's anything that needs fixing! Thanks for the chance, these were fun to read.
Hi Matt
Thank you for these.
All 3 poems are well read and the text is correct apart from one variant noted below.
They all pass Checker for technical correctness.
Well done, a good first effort

However all 3 recordings need to have 5 seconds of silence at the end (this is requirement of all LibriVox recordings).

For section 73:
at 0.52 (line 14) the word If is missing from If either will convert us ..., which changes the meaning of the line.

Please make these changes and re-upload with the same filenames

Hey. Checking in. I made a recording when I signed up, but it had a mistake that made the take was unusable. Haven't had a chance to rerecord. If I don't get back to it within the next week, you can take me off.

Thank you, Alan! I've been getting familiar with the poem (feels like my life story!) and will record soon.

For the registry...you can use the name: Suzanne Carol

How many poems/works can one reserve at one time? My guess is: as many as we will accomplish in a month? Am I close? :)

Thanks again!

Oh dear! Apparently there is more than one poem by Herbert with the title Affliction.

I see that someone has already read the one I was thinking I had committed to. I'm so thankful to have mulled it deeply, though, and will record it for my own benefit. :)

So...

Let's put a pause on Affliction 33 until I can look over the correct poem and I'll get back with you. [edit: I looked it over and am still good to go!]

Hopefully there's grace for the newbie! 😄

Hi Suzanne
I have registered you as a Reader.
It is confusing to have several poems with the same name which is why I put the page number of each poem in the Magic Window. Perhaps when you have decided which poem to read you can claim it giving title, section number and page number to avoid further confusion.
There is no official limit on claims but most Book Coordinators (BC) have unofficial limits. For a new reader, like yourself, I would ask you to upload a first recording and get it checked and OKed before doing more. This avoids the risk of making the same mistakes in several recordings as new readers often do.
Waiting to hear from you :)
