Hello,

I plan on doing I Like Martian Music. This is my first time picking a source, and i plan to record where it says ** START OF THE PROJECT GUTENBERG EBOOK I LIKE MARTIAN MUSIC ** and finish where it says finish...otherwise it goes into a bunch of trademark and other things that are not specific to the story.

It looks like your sampling rate is 48k Hz instead of the required 44. Can you regenerate the mp3 in the correct sampling rate and re-upload? Thanks.

That's correct. We don't read any of the Project Gutenberg generated text at the beginning and ending, including the "** START OF THE PROJECT GUTENBERG EBOOK I LIKE MARTIAN MUSIC **" text. Just the contents of the story. Just make sure to include the Librivox introduction as stated in the first post. Thanks!

The sample rate is still 48k Hz instead of 44. If you are using audacity, this should be a selection when you choose to export to mp3.

It looks like now the volume is slight too low. Can you boost it by about 3 db and reupload?

Btw, if you don't have the Checker app, I strongly recommend getting it and scanning the mp3 before uploading. It will tell you if there are any technical problems with the audio track.

12:36 should be "A kind of dark resigned courage"; I heard "A kind of dark reserved courage"
