Please check Section 2 - The last dream of the old oak.
Duration : 7:29

Can I read section 6 - The story of the year next?

Thanks

Welcome to LibriVox, Greenbean. A great group of people if not just a little eccentric at times.

Just a couple of things that need attention in Section 2:

At 01:52, there is a "sniffing" noise that could be edited out.

The silent period at the end of the recording needs to be five seconds long.

Other than that, a good PL OK recording.

Dancing unfortunately doesn't translate well to audio (unless it's tap), so these are just your standard fairy tale fare. However, they're tidied up and ready for a PL!

Greetings -

Just one little adjustment is needed and this one can be listed as PL OK.

The audio level comes in at just over our upper limit of 92 dB. Drop in a couple of dB and it will be ready to go.

Some notes on Chapters 23 and 29:

Chapter 23 is PL OK.

Chapter 29:

The section from 01:43 to 02:04 is repeated.

Otherwise, it is PL OK.

All three were very nicely read and definitely PL OK.

Let's hear more from you in the near future.

Greetings -

naitylk, thanks for joining us in the addictive world of LibriVox.

Your first effort, Section 26, has been marked PL OK.

Here are a couple of suggestions for you:

Speak a little louder as you have a soft voice.

Do not speak directly into the microphone but at an angle across it. This will help with the sibilance that shows on some of your "s" sounds.

Looking forward to hearing from you again.

Hah, that's what I get for eye-balling it and not trusting Loudness Normalization.
Fixed, and re-uploaded!

Thank you for approving section 23. I have seen my mistake in section 29 and have fixed it. I will post that file link in a new post.
