Hi Inkell
Thanks for your claim, these sections are assigned to you

Hint: there are 4 roles outstanding in Dido and Aeneas if you are interested. They are all quite short :D

Sorry Alan, I can't sing and am kind of tone deaf so not much use in an Opera I'm afraid

It is only a spoken word recording of the libretto of the opera. There is no singing or music involved

Oh right okay then, I'll have a look at the roles (I usually look through them before requesting anything and see what I'm in for) when I have a chance, unless you had any in mind for me

Anyway question: on the last poem (the extract one) did you want me to read the numerals or ignore them?

I prefer the numerals not to be read but it is really for you as the reader to do what you prefer

Well my instinct would be to ignore them, it seems like it's the verses being numbered and isn't very important especially with how short they are but when in doubt it's usually better to record since it's easier to cut than add in or just ask so I asked. Anyway I recorded my section.

So I'm currently working through these poems (here are two more by the way:
34: https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/poeticalworks_34_halleck_128kb.mp3 (2 mins, 16 secs)
37: https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/poeticalworks_37_halleck_128kb.mp3 (3 mins, 25 secs))
But on poem 39 I came across a problem, there's a white splodge on the page that blocks the beginning of the last three lines on page 212, you can piece together two of them (AS mine... and TO hers) but the middle one is just _ pressed. Do we have an alternate version where we can see what the missing word is or should I just read it the line beginning with pressed?

Hi Inkell
Thanks for these, both Ready for PL!

For poem 39 I have checked another source text.
The 3 lines should begin:
As mine have been, as mine have been,
When pressed in dreams beneath it,
To hers unseen, to hers unseen.
Hope this helps

And that is all for today, I have the last one recorded too but it's longer than these and will take more time to edit so you'll have to wait on that one
