Divide it in two, more or less, equal parts? or shall I make the first part a little under 74 minutes and put the rest in the next section?
It´s the first time this happens to me and I don´t know what to do.
yes this is the main reason why I suggested saying "Section" instead of "Chapter" in the intro, which you did I think. Now there is no problem splitting them in two.
I would suggest finding a suitable place in the plot, maybe a new day is starting, or one big scene is ending and a totally new plot starts, or a long dialogue ends. I would try to split them also a little bit evenly, so if it's 80 minutes total, try to find a suitable break near the 40 minute mark. Doesn't need to be exactly half, but it's better to have 30 & 50 than 70 & 10 minutes, if possible.
For the intro then you can go on saying:
> Seção 4.... Esta gravação LibriVox.... Capítulo IV, Parte 1" - at the end you say "Fim de seção 4"
> Seção 5.... Esta gravação LibriVox.... Capítulo IV, Parte 2" - at the end you say "Fim de seção 5"
> Seção 6.... Esta gravação LibriVox.... Capítulo V" - at the end you say "Fim de seção 6"
and so on. From then on Section number and Chapter number will differ but that doesn't matter, the section numbers will be in order and for the chapter numbers you say them as the "title" of the chapter in the second part of the intro. Maybe it will happen with other chapters as well. But it stays all very clear and not messy that way.
Also update the MW with the new "title", including "Parte 1" and "Parte 2"
