pmessina wrote: March 21st, 2023, 9:37 amIt all comes down to asking the right question. The word I wanted was Zoom. Finally found an answer:
Zooming--To move to different positions in the track with the mouse, it is easier if you are fully zoomed out with the View > Tracksize > Fit to Width command (Ctrl + F), or the The Fit to Width tool Fit to Width button on the extreme right of Edit Toolbar.
oh you wanted to see the whole track in one window ? Yes I did not realize that. Actually I find it easier to find the right spot when I'm zoomed in a bit, because the time-line on top reveals the minutes and seconds more accurately. I never zoom out to see the whole track. I prefer the scrolling, it doesn't take long.

But I'm glad your problem is solved.

Section 4 at your service. I think it's a hoot with a happy end. (Is it a spoiler if it doesn't give specifics?) Enjoy!

thank you, Julie, this was indeed an intriguing style for a story. The Black Cat authors never cease to amaze me. I enjoyed the narration too, very lively. Absolutely PL ok.

Since we are down to the last submission to come in, this is the starting point for the next issue. 8-)

New project here, maybe some of you are interested to participate again.

And here's Section 1.

Running time: 30:36

I didn't find myself able to do voices on this one, but really felt like an exaggerated storyteller's tone worked better. I hope it's come across okay. The French terms--well, I tried. Sorry for hurting your ears!

Let me know if there are required or suggested edits; I'll be focusing on some pending PL work, but can make edits as needed.

Thanks,
Stephanie

no apologies needed ! This was a brilliant narration. Your French is not bad at all, and I did not miss any specific voices for the characters. Wow, I didn't see this ending coming.

Absolutely PL ok. And that means we are ready for the catalogue :9:

My heartfelt thanks to the five readers of this edition, and I see it was an all-ladies-night this time.

Stephanie, Rita, Inkell, Julie and Paula

And here are my teasers for your stories:

> "The Heart of God": the mysterious disappearance of a priceless diamond is unravelled
> Across the Range: a woman is faced with the important task of winding up a chronometer
> The Block of Bronze: learn all about the explorer's fearful encounter with a mummy
> Fragments of an Interrupted Courtship: love correspondance in war-times must get creative
> The Celestial Adventure of Sin Loo: by chance, a poor Chinese boy gets whirled into a masked costume party

Will post the link once the project is uploaded
