Could it be "miasma"? (mispronounced)BeckyWTX wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 5:36 am I'd like to try one more. Submission will be in late April most likely. 121 Lilah Walker tells an interesting story. If y'all have any guesses what "miassahs" could be, please say. A Google search shows she's the only reference on the entire internet of that word! Mists rising maybe? Giving that kind of intonation unless either you or mleigh have other suggestion.
Thanks.

That would be my guess too based on the context.Lynnet wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 7:26 amCould it be "miasma"? (mispronounced)BeckyWTX wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 5:36 am I'd like to try one more. I'll go ahead and put you in for this, and see what I can come up with for the mystery word.BeckyWTX wrote: ↑March 18th, 2023, 5:36 am I'd like to try one more. Silverquill & MLeigh - I'm certain you are right! (I had never even heard of that word!)
It turns out there's an old medical theory that miasma could cause disease, which matches her comments.
Thank you for your help. Knowing the real word changes the intonation I'll give also.

Unsurprisingly, this recording has no issues with it and is most definitely PL OK.
Thanks,

Hello sir, I just wanted to confirm I still have #68 Abraham Jones as I noticed that it’s still labeled “open” in the magic window.silverquill wrote: ↑March 19th, 2023, 10:04 pmThank you!
