Audiobook listening app (Android)

Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

I've been using this great Android app to listen to my downloaded audiobooks.
If you're a ProofListener and like to take your PL-ing mobile, this (or something like it) is exactly what you need.

The main useful feature (for PL) is that you can add bookmarks as you listen so you don't have to pause, rewind, play, pause, write down the time, resume playback each time you find an issue.

You could listen to music with it, but it's mainly geared toward listening to audiobooks or other long-duration audio tracks. The app loads audiobooks from folders that you specify/add. It does not automatically scan your device for media, so you have to add things manually - on the other hand it means the app will not be cluttered with your music or other sound files.

It's available on F-droid, completely free and open source.

AudioAnchor (Audio player that tracks the listening process of your audio books and podcasts)

There is also an app on the Play Store that looks like it's a little more feature-full with a 30 day trial period, if you want more features and don't mind paying.
