[COMPLETE] Anthology of Magazine Verse for 1914, edited by William Stanley Braithwaite - icequeen

@0:31, your quote continues just into the next line of verse: "It comes from fire."

I've read these lines multiple times, and I'm sure I read it last night on my test recording. But, today I slipped a gear.
Let's try this: https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/anthologyofmagazineverse1914_86_braithwaite_128kb.mp3

This sounds good except for the numbers at the end that you left end.
Just cut those out and make sure there's still five seconds of silence at the end, and you'll be golden.
Also, I'm sending you a PM about something we briefly touched on in today's Zoom.

Ah, thanks, somehow I missed it.
I've marked it PL OK, but there is a huge amount of reverb on this -- the hollow room effect -- that I don't hear in your previous recordings. It is a little distracting. Did you change something about your setup or microphone? Do you hear the difference? If you can improve on that, it would sound better when it is combined with the other parts. Let me know what you think.

Here's the narration for Fight, ready for optional PL. I may re-take some lines to smooth the transitions between speakers when I edit everyone's parts together, but I can make a note of them if you wish.

I really can't wait to hear and to share the finished product, I think this is one I'll be quite proud of.

I did a close PL of this, as I usually do for poetry, so here are a couple of notes that you might want to take care, including a repeat I'm sure you'll catch in editing.
6:56 Text: “All that she once had owned—”
I heard, “All that she had once owned—”
18:13 Text: “In His own image molding beautiful
The human skull”
I hear: “In His own image molding the beautiful
The human skull [slight nuance of meaning here]
18:19 – 18-28 Repeat: “Jock lifts his head; Macdonough sights his gun
To fire—but in his face a ball of flesh, A whizzing clod”
So, all parts are in except Jean, and I sent a note to Lisa to see if we can get that soon.
I also sent a note to Dan about Macdonough, because he has a lot of reverb in the recording that I didn't notice on his other recording. One sailor still outstanding from the other Dan who also has two poems claimed but not done.
I'll leave the entire editing process to you and will give it a final PL when done.
Hope seems to have dropped out as DPL on another of my projects and she said she would PL my remaining sections here. If you get a chance and would like to PL at least the two poems, that would get us further down the road. Really hoping we can get this out to the public before the end of the month.
Again, thank you for such a masterful reading of the narrator.

Yes, I kicked myself for that repeat right after I sent it in. I'll get these other fixes done too, and I've also found some annoying mouth clicks to get rid of.
I'll plan on PLing your sections soon, and then starting to edit this one together later this week. If any lines are still missing (or echo-ey) at that time, I'll mark and move on, so that we have a draft they can be easily inserted into as they arrive.
