Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 all need to be changed to constant bit rate and 128 kbps.

Other than that, sections 1, 2, and 4 will be PL OK.

Section 3 has one tiny repeat:

20:33 "But But if warnings have been sent ahead of us" followed by "But if warnings have been sent
ahead of us" at 20:36

Looking forward to hearing how this ends. :)

I should have expected this. I accidentally got upgraded to the latest Audacity and it reset everything. tsk, tsk. :?

OK, the bit rate has been fixed on all files. It should be 128 and constant now for all of them. hopefully!

The ending was not what I expected or hoped for and I was a bit let down. The villains were so nasty that surely they would get their punishment. But you will see how it ends. Actually I just learned that this was the first book in a trilogy, with the couple going on to two more books so it kind of makes sense. :?

All sections PL OK except for section 3. I think my note on the repeat was missed.

Section 3 has one tiny repeat:

20:33 "But But if warnings have been sent ahead of us" followed by "But if warnings have been sent
ahead of us" at 20:36

I was somewhat surprised by the ending but I guess it was the most logical, if there was going to be a happy ending. Wonder why the author made Dona a bit of a dimwit in chapter 5. :hmm:

I wasn't expecting a trilogy though.

Chapter 3 was not fixed because I did not fix it. tsk, tsk. Now it is indeed fixed. 8-)

And let's be honest; in my opinion the ending just sucks and i apologize for putting you through this lame story. The premise is wonderful and very imaginative but his conclusion that 100 million human worlds, of every possible political and social stripe, will always use it for evil is too depressing for me.

I think it was meant to be along the lines of "absolute power corrupts absolutely", or, however the quote goes. I am too lazy at the moment to look it up. As soon as my internet connection speeds up a bit, sigh, I will give it a quick listen.
